This is a gorgeous little bayonet. Based on the 1771 style Infantry and dragoon officers bayonet. Except a smaller MRD and the blade form of the M1777. It has a basal locking ring for a bottom stud as the M1771 bayonets and a raised attachment shield. Due to the blade style this should date slightly after 1777. A cadet or officers bayonet. 325 mm Overall Length- 242 mm Blade Length to shoulders- 65 mm Socket Length- 18.6 mm bore.
