This one started life as an AN IX Musketoon with the extra long blade. But the blade was shortened to 1822 length for use by the Garde Nationale on the M1816 muskets modified to percussion. Nicely marked. Ring rotates smoothly. The scabbards are very hard to find. This is not the typical garde type with the stud but has a strap for a buckle.
