15 inch blade. There are traces of a maker mark on the ricasso so definitely a British made bayonet. This one stayed in use for a very long time. The slot has been extended a bit. At some point an earlier sytle Windus spring was installed- now missing. Finally the blade was narrowed to fit into the P1853 scabbards. There is some hammering to the front of the socket otherwise the condition is very nice.
