Reference: British Commonwealth Bayonets B230 and pg 174
A very interesting example. Made by Mole with no year model or inspections stamps on the metal parts. There is an inspection stamp on one of the grip scales. The scabbard is a very rare type with thin leather that is probably pigskin covering a wood body with no chape. See pg 174 of Skennerton for the scabbard. The blade is in superb condition. The pommel has some corrosion and was hammered a bit on the top. The button still works but is stiff.
