For the Thouvenin rifle. These continued in service for a long time. The scabbard is dated 1867 and regimentally marked M over 4911. These bayonets are quite scarce and considered rare with scabbard. The blade has a dark untouched patina. I've had this bayonet in my collection for over 20 years.
