Reference: Janzens Notebook 3-1

British made by Enfield in October 1912. Pommel is marked NSW over 5 digit number. The scabbard is a WWI style also marked EFD. The scabbard mouth is also marked NSW with a 4 digit number (different from the pommel though) The exposed metal (pommel, hook, scabbard fittings) have corrosion with moderate pitting. Button is free and works well. The blade was protected by the scabbard and is bright and not corroded. These Australian hooked quillon models are in high demand and having a NSW marked scabbard with it is even better.
